Is there a sense of panic in Kansas City in your mind?

Not panic, but real concern.
You know, this is unique territory for a lot of Chiefs fans.
They’ve been spoiled for seven years at least.
You really have to go back to those Alex Smith days, as you guys mentioned, uh, with the 0-2 start.
You know, this is not something we’ve seen under the Patrick Mahomes era.
You know, he’s lost three straight games.
If you include the Super Bowl, that’s the first.
It’s happened in his career.
Yes, it’s pretty crazy.
It’s taken this long, but still, that’s the spot they’re in.
I think the worry for a lot of Chiefs fans is last year the offense looked a lot like this, but their defense was a lot better.

It’s why they were able to win a lot of those one-score games, 17 of them in a row, by the way, last year on their way towards the Super Bowl game.
Against the Eagles, where we all know what happened there.
Well this go-around the defense, while they were much better in week 2 against Philadelphia, this defense is not at the same level.
So you’ve got an offense with all these issues that doesn’t have Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice right now, and then your defense isn’t as good.
And you said in a spot where you’re watching the Chargers in that AFC West, and people are more concerned, I think about the division than anything else that maybe just maybe that nine-year run in the AFC West could be over.

What has been maybe the most outrageous finger pointing or giving of blame in an unprecedented 0-2 start for Kansas City Chiefs fans?
So a lot of people are focused on the offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, who, of course, was with the Chiefs, then went to Chicago as the head coach there.
You guys obviously are well aware of that.
And then he’s been back and since then, the offense hasn’t been as good, but he’s also been the offensive coordinator on a team that won a Super Bowl, and it’s been a big debate in Kansas City yesterday, you know, really how much blame should he get?
Is his job in jeopardy and things like that.

And it’s a tough discussion to have because Andy Reid is the head coach.
He’s also the play caller.
You know, for those who don’t follow maybe things as closely in Kansas City, yes, you have an offensive coordinator, but whether it was Eric Bieniemy, whether it was Doug Peterson, the plays are called by Andy Reid.
You might see Matt Nagy actually talking during the game on the headset.
He’s just relaying the play.
He’s not calling the play.
Now he’s involved in the game plan and things like that.
And so, you know that Andy Reid’s not going anywhere, and so everybody’s finding a scapegoat and right now.

It seems to be Matt Nagy is who everybody is kind of focused in on.
So the hottest take is that they need to bring back Eric Bieniemy, and Matt Nagy shouldn’t be the OC.
that’s from a few people throughout this week in Kansas City.
At some point, the Chiefs need to go out and get a Tyreek Hill?
Nationally, we’re all screaming about getting Tyreek back to Kansas City.
Is that, is that something that you guys even have your mind set on over there?
So right now it depends on, you know, if you’re on the full, full blown, hey, the offense has no chance of getting better.
This is what the offense is.
There’s, there’s certain people like that in Kansas City.

Elsewhere, it’s, hey, Worthy is back maybe this Sunday against the Giants.
Reece’s suspension in about a month or so.
And so let’s see for the first time what Hollywood Brown, Reece Reece, Xavier Worthy look like on a football field.
